PERSONALITY

She is a kind yet introverted girl growing up under a pressured lifestyle and sheltered in the blossom town of Sakyo-ku, Kyoto. Her grace and charm were lessons taught to her since young to perform well as a lady of the Asahina family. She has keen eyesight and good with aim in which archery became her main perfection. Tomoe is eager to help others and has an interest in medication and spiritual healing but due to her meek personality, people underestimate her abilities.

HISTORY

Tomoe was raised under the care of her grandmother, Lady Izuna who taught her all about Shinto and special abilities passed down to them as women. She was given a cat guardian named Nekoku and her close childhood friend was a boy named Katsuo. These were memories that Tomoe could never forget as her most treasured.

Grandma Izuna passed away when Tomoe was 15 years old but a week before, she was given a special pendant charm, symbolizing her status as a miko. Despite this, her father requested that she will return to the main house rather than continue Izuna’s teachings. But between her and her father, Yoshiki, the atmosphere was tense as the man hardly spend time with his daughter although inside, he was concern for her but the samurai lacked the ability to communicate with her and instead more conflicts arise.

As time went by, she could not bear the taunting of the two-faced sophisticated girls in her father’s clan, judging her background and gossiping behind her back. She ran away from the main house and hopes to find people to accept her.

Story as of now...

She befriended a kind metalsmith boy named Ran Hasegawa (by *Kurasato) who introduced her to more people who accepted her and encouraged Tomoe to become stronger both emotionally and physically. At times, she met up with Ran on occassion to support him as his friend when needed.

Tomoe hears of the famous tournament held where her friends were cheering Ran for his final and last battle before this hero mysteriously vanished...
