StarCrest Comic in 2000-2007

After rummaging through the shelves, i found this old OLD drawing dating back when i was Grade 7 in gradeschool and made my first ever manga! It was a parody of Sailormoon called Starcrest (you can see the 'sailormoony noses i used to draw, and the horrible anatomy!) So today, i decided to redrew it and show you my NEW style and improvements, ouch i had a shock when i saw this old junk!

To make long story short, it was about a tomboy girl called Kate who finds a talking cat named Tyro! Lolz! Instead of just a yapping mascot, i decided he should become her weapon! (which i can't remember the name) Surprise! Kate changes into her alter-ego and fights justice as the powerful warrior StarCrest! Good thing is she really knows how to fight, not just a ballerina twirl but bang and knock their teeth out! (kinda) lol...

In this 07 version, her 'Morning Star' is a multi-spear and magic bazooka! The cat's gonna be called 'Nova' instead. Also some interesting parody side characters, the cowardly and low self-esteemed Prince Wane and co. (originally he was just a bishie prince who was engaged to a princess that he didn't love... yea cliche isn't it?)

As a 7th Anniversary of my first inspired comic that spanned a whooping 12 volumes (which was never published only shown in school) One of these days, i'm planning to remake a oneshot revised version of StarCrest and let you see my wacky 13-year old imagination put to use! (With some help from my older creative mind) Enjoy!
